Description
This program is aimed at employees working in psychosocial intervention contexts within organizations serving their community.
By assuming a positive role in their organization, they will use their communication skills in helping relationships developed through professional experience. The program is aimed at those working in environments such as CLSCs, treatment and rehabilitation centers, hospitals, family homes (houses), seniors' residences (Elders house), group homes, youth centers, youth centers or even community services (associations).
Participants deepen heir ability to gather relevant information about an individual's behavior, adapt their intervention to identified needs, and collaborate effectively with their team. In crisis situations, they strengthen their use of communication strategies that promote problem-solving while maintaining their safety and personal well-being.
Terms and conditions
This program is currently offered only in Nunavik. Individual and group sessions are offered in various communities throughout Hudson Bay and Ungava Bay. Trainers travel to the territory several times a year between September and April.
