Pre-Retirement Training Program For Federal Public Service Employees

Federal public service employees and their spouses who wish to participate.

Private Group

• The registration cost for a private group workshop varies from one province to the other due to the travel and living expenses per region.
• If your spouse wishes to participate, no additional fees are charged for his/her registration.
• The workshop should be for a minimum of 20 participants (excluding the spouses).

Public Group

• The registration cost for a public group workshop varies from one province to the other due to the travel and living expenses per region.
• If your spouse wishes to participate, no additional fees are charged for his/her registration.
• The workshop should be for a minimum of 20 participants (excluding the spouses).

Private Group Registration

If you want to organize a private group workshop or webinar within your organization, please send your requested information to: retraite.canada.retirement@cegepmv.ca.

• Forecasted dates for the workshop (on working days from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm)

*Due the differences between the legal jurisdictions between Quebec and Ontario Provinces, and unless otherwise stated, when you register to a session delivered in the province of Quebec, only Code civil du Québec will be discussed and presented by a Notary. When you register to a session delivered in the province of Ontario, only Common Law will be discussed and presented by a lawyer. Nonetheless the course material contains content covering both legal jurisdictions available for each official language.

Note: Some individuals are sensitive to perfumes / fragrances and/or have allergies, it would be appreciated if you would avoid the use of any scented products during the duration of workshop.

Group Workshop Cancellation

• The Identified User may cancel or reschedule a group workshop without incurring a fee by giving a written notice to the Cégep Marie-Victorin by e-mail at retraite.canada.retirement@cegepmv.ca at least 10 working days prior to the workshop delivery date; and
• In the event that the Identified User does not provide a minimum of 10 working days' notice to cancel a group workshop, the Cégep Marie-Victorin will be paid the price of the workshop, and will be reimbursed non-refundable travel and living expenses incurred, if any.

Individual Workshop Cancellation

• The Identified User may cancel or reschedule its participation to a workshop at no cost by giving a written notice, by email, to the Cégep Marie-Victorin at retraite.canada.retirement@cegepmv.ca at least 10 working days before the workshop start date;
• If failure to cancel within 10 working days, the organization shall assume full cost of workshop;
• The Cégep Marie-Victorin may cancel or reschedule a workshop due to insufficient registrations, by giving a written notice, by email, to the Identified User, at least 10 working days before the start of the workshop. If a participant requires travelling to attend a workshop, we recommend travel and living arrangements be booked and confirmed , only within the 10 working days prior to the scheduled workshop in order to avoid additional fees to his/her department.
• In the event that the Cégep Marie-Victorin does not provide a minimum of 10 working days' notice to cancel or reschedule a wokshop, the Cégep Marie-Victorin will reimburse the participants its non-refundable travel and living expenses, if any.

If Canada or the Cégep Marie-Victorin has to cancel a group or individual worshop due to an unforeseeable of uncontrollable event, such as a strike, virus attack, pandemic, power or technical failure, no cancellation charges will be applied.
