Opal International is looking for a friendly, thorough, and organized individual with a desire to work in the garment and textile industry, specifically as it pertains to uniforms, outerwear, and workwear.
Responsibilities & requirements of the job: · Garment and textile field experience for 1+ years · Communicating clearly with clients and factories in French and English by email, telephone, and in person · Must be residence in Great Montreal, Canada · Skills in software Adobe Illustrator, PDF, Excel and Word · Understanding each programs, deadline, testing method, samples provided in proper way. · Verifying and formatting tech packs ensuring for clear and detailed communication with factories and meet deadline to assure on schedule sample submissions and timely deliveries· New product development, sourcing of new suppliers and follow up.· An asset: able to carry out small, neat repairs and alterations on a domestic sewing machine and by hand.
