Job Summary

A Montreal-based wholesale fashion clothing company, with a diverse clientele across North America and internationally, is seeking a talented and motivated Fashion Designer Assistant to join its team.

In this role, you will assist in the design and development of bespoke garments (trousers, jackets, skirts, and dresses), while participating in the creation of monthly offers tailored to different customer profiles and needs. This is a great opportunity to progress in a dynamic environment and be part of a creative team.

Main responsibilities

• Sketching with Illustrator
• Developing Trims with Illustrator and Excel
• Assist in developing prints (repeats, recolors) with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Create technical sheets (CADs) with Illustrator

Qualifications

• College diploma in fashion design
• 0 to 1 year of experience in the fashion industry
• Good command of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Good command of Excel and Microsoft Office suite
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Attention to detail, organized and autonomous
• Good monitoring and organizational skills

Qualifications

• College diploma in Fashion Design
• 0–1 year of fashion industry experience
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual (English & French)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
