Zotero and Group Library

One of the central missions of the UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in Prison is to facilitate the dissemination of research and provide access for all the audiences concerned. To this end, we strive to :

  • identify and index as many relevant international studies, research, articles and publications as possible.
  • create an electronic documentation centre for researchers, teachers, practitioners, consultants and decision-makers.
  • publish a newsletter on a regular basis.
  • to promote, on the Chair's website, new studies or publications concerning education in prison.

Public Library and Bibliography

To facilitate the dissemination and identification of the many documents related to education in prison, the Chair's team manages a public library and bibliography using the Zotero service.

To access this tool, you need to open a Zotero account and download the app. Zotero is a bibliographic management tool that allows you to collect, collate, cite, organize and share research. It's free and open software : https://www.zotero.org/.

People who are already using this service can subscribe to the Chair's library by following the following link : Library on Education in Prisons.

The virtual library is kept up to date by the Chair's team. It includes the complete bibliographic record for articles, monographs and various reports dealing with education in prisons. These records include a link to the book or to the document in PDF version if available. It is currently organized by categories and we will eventually add a categorization by theme and geographical area.

Like research in general, this library is a collective work and a work in progress. So don't hesitate to share your references with us!

This bibliography is also available in RIS format (upon request) and in PDF version : Bibliography – UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in Prisons.
